THE RACE IN A FEW BRUSHSTROKES 🐎

There is something about a racehorse at full speed that is difficult to capture — the reach, the power, the jockey folded low over the horse, and that feeling that everything is moving forward at once.

That movement is what I wanted in this watercolor-style racehorse painting.

There are no words or slogans on this hoodie. Just the horse and rider, painted in loose layers of chestnut, cream, teal, brown, and charcoal with unfinished brushwork that gives the artwork its sense of motion.

The design is printed large on the front so the details of the painting don't disappear. The softer edges and watercolor washes change subtly with each hoodie color, especially where the lighter brushwork meets the darker fabric.
